The Technics SL-1200 M7PED Lamborghini Edition represents an impressive fusion of Technics' decades of experience in turntable technology and the dynamic elegance of Lamborghini. This exclusive edition not only offers outstanding audio performance, but also a distinctive design that reflects the iconic aesthetics of the Italian super sports car brand.

Precise and stable synchronization
The heart of the SL-1200 M7PED is its state-of-the-art direct drive motor, which ensures precise and stable synchronization. Unlike conventional motors, this motor uses a low-speed motor that drives the turntable directly on the same axis. This design offers several advantages, including excellent synchronization accuracy, high drive torque and minimal maintenance requirements. Of particular note is the motor's coreless stator, which eliminates cogging torque - a common source of micro-vibrations in older direct drive systems. By minimizing the gap between the coreless stator and the rotor, the drive torque has been maximized, resulting in consistently high performance.

Innovative features for more creativity
The SL-1200 M7PED is equipped with a number of advanced features designed specifically for DJs and music lovers. Thanks to the latest motor control technologies, originally developed for Blu-ray players, the turntable offers precise control for both normal playback and more demanding DJ techniques such as scratching. An integrated microcomputer monitors and regulates the motor speed to ensure consistent performance.
The start and brake torque of the turntable can be individually adjusted, giving DJs the opportunity to shape their performances according to their personal preferences. The speed control allows you to play 33-1/3, 45 or 78 rpm records, while the pitch adjustment range of ±8%/±16% allows for precise speed adjustment. This is particularly useful for beatmatching and other DJ techniques.

Another innovative feature is the reverse play function. By pressing the speed and start/stop buttons simultaneously, the turntable rotates in the opposite direction, opening up new creative possibilities for DJs and making their performances even more varied.

Highly sensitive tonearm and improved needle illumination
The SL-1200 M7PED features a statically balanced S-shaped tonearm made of lightweight, high-strength aluminum. This design ensures precise tracking of the record grooves and minimizes unwanted needle movement, even under demanding conditions such as scratching. The gimbal suspension of the tonearm, which includes a milled housing and high-precision bearings, further contributes to the outstanding tracking performance.

The turntable's needle lighting has also been improved. A bright, long-lasting white LED ensures optimal visibility of the needle, even in dark environments. The new pressure mechanism and the adjusted lighting intensity and range make it easier to place the needle precisely on the record.

Highly stable housing and effective damping feet
The chassis of the SL-1200 M7PED is made of die-cast aluminum and firmly connected to a reinforced ABS plastic construction. This two-layer construction offers outstanding strength and vibration damping, resulting in faithful and dynamic sound reproduction. The turntable's damping feet are made of a spring-rubber construction that ensures excellent damping and stability. This ensures very good noise immunity, even at high sound levels.

Exclusive Lamborghini design and accessories
The SL-1200 M7PED Lamborghini Edition impresses with an exclusive design inspired by the iconic Y-shape and the colors of the Lamborghini super sports cars. Available in the striking colors orange, green and yellow, the record player reflects the unmistakable aesthetic of the Italian luxury brand.
The delivery includes an original vinyl record containing the powerful V12 engine and driving sounds of six different Lamborghini super sports cars. The design of this record is inspired by the rims of the Lamborghini Revuelto and offers a visual complement to the powerful sound of the engines. A slipmat and two stickers with the Automobili Lamborghini and Technics logos are also included and round off the exclusive package.
