The new Bluesound PULSE 2i is the largest and most powerful streaming speaker from Bluesound. In its latest version, the Generation 2i, the stereo system has a completely new technical equipment. The tweeters now have an even wider dispersion and provide a sound image that fills the room. Compared to its Gen 2 predecessor, the integrated digital amplifier offers almost double the total output power of 150 watts, which means that the PULSE 2i can also provide sound to larger rooms without any problems.

Of course, the premium speaker also offers all of Bluesound's usual features, such as a combined digital and analog input, AirPlay 2, dual-band WLAN and the ability to stream music from a smartphone via bi-directional Bluetooth and also send it to Bluetooth headphones.

The PULSE 2i makes it easy to use your wifi or LAN network and have it up and running within minutes of unboxing. With the BluOS™ Controller app, you can go through the setup process step-by-step. You can name the speaker on the network, assign it a room, and customize the audio settings to your liking. You can also program up to five presets to launch your favorite radio stations, streaming services and playlists with just a tap. Once the PULSE 2i is online, the new dual-band WLAN system ensures a reliable connection without dropouts or delays while listening to music.

Additionally, the PULSE 2i features an advanced high-resolution D/A converter that allows you to stream studio-quality MQA files. You can select your favorite music from cloud streaming services, internet radio stations, or your private music library by simply launching the BluOS™ Controller app on your mobile device.

MUSIC THROUGHOUT THE HOUSE

Connect the PULSE 2i to other Bluesound players to stream music in absolute sync in different rooms. If desired, different streams can also be played to each Bluesound player on the network. For example, lounge music can be heard in the dining room and the latest rock album in the bathroom. Alternatively, two PULSE 2i can be combined to create a wider stereo base. In this case, the music is played through separate speakers for the left and right channels.
