Product Description
This product is an amplified screen antenna suitable for Alpine DAB products.
The KAE-242DA is an active DAB/DAB+/DMB film antenna for automotive use.
With the KAE-242DA, Alpine offers a new active DAB+ disc-adhesive antenna, specially developed for use in the motor vehicle sector. The asymmetrical, self-adhesive strip antenna with omnidirectional characteristics has a frequency range of band-III/L 170-240 MHz or 1452-1495 MHz.
The voltage supply with 5 - 12 V (30 mA) is via phantom power directly via the terminal. The impedance is 50 ohms. The transparent, only 40 x 170 mm antenna is connected with a 3.5 m long, loss-proof cable with SMB (f) angled connector in black.
Note on antenna installation: The antenna can not be mounted if the disc is metal-vaporized, covered with metal foil or has a disc heater. If the disc is smaller than 30 cm, the antenna can not be mounted (the antenna length).
