Ampire KVX-Ducato-6G rear view camera - perfect visibility even in the dark

The Ampire KVX-Ducato-6G rear view camera offers a vehicle-specific solution for FIAT Ducato motorhomes or motorhomes based on the identical CITROEN Jumper, PEUGEOT Boxer. Designed to seamlessly replace the factory brake light glass, this rear view camera blends harmoniously into the vehicle design while offering significant improvements in reversing monitoring.

Easy replacement and infrared lighting
Replacing the factory brake light glass unit with the KVX-Ducato-6G is quick and easy. The integrated infrared lighting ensures optimal visibility even in total darkness by effectively illuminating the area behind the vehicle.

Improved image quality
The second generation of this rear view camera uses an improved camera chip that offers significantly higher resolution. This ensures a clearer and more detailed image, which significantly increases safety when reversing.

Technical data in detail
The camera delivers a mirror image and has auxiliary lines switched on at the factory, but these can be switched off if required. The 1/4" CMOS PC7070 image sensor used delivers a resolution of 648x488 pixels. With a diagonal viewing angle of 170° and a horizontal angle of 120°, the camera covers a wide field of view. The vertical adjustability of the camera is 20°.

The image format is NTSC (Cinch) with a resolution of 580 lines. The camera is IP68 certified and therefore waterproof. Thanks to the minimum illumination of 0 lux and the integrated 6 LED infrared lighting, it offers excellent visibility even in poor lighting conditions.

The operating voltage of the camera is between 9-16 volts DC and it consumes a maximum of 150mA. It works reliably in a temperature range of -30° to 70°C. The camera is black and has a 10 meter long cable with AVIATION plug.
